Hyderabad's State Gallery of Art is a treasure trove for art enthusiasts, showcasing a diverse range of contemporary works that challenge our perceptions of reality. The exhibition, titled Perspectives, is a testament to the power of art in reflecting and shaping our understanding of the world. Curated by Satya Gannoju, it brings together 50 artists, both emerging and established, to explore a shared theme through their unique creative visions.

Similarly, Anjiya Naik's depiction of Lord Shiva, rendered in hues of blue and gold, explores mythology-inspired themes and identity, touching upon temple architecture and evoking a sense of devotion.
Bhairu Raghu Ram's artworks provide a glimpse into rural Telangana, portraying rural women, domestic animals, and architecture with meticulous detail. The artist's attention to the minutiae of rural life, from traditional armlets and anklets to roosters and pottery, offers a rich tapestry of the region's culture and traditions. Priti Samyukta's The Cleopatra, on the other hand, is an ode to the femininity of contemporary women, exploring themes of women, identity, and pets through a unique combination of mediums, including scraps of denim fabric and appliqué on corduroy.
Keshav Rao's bronze sculpture, Shiva-Parvati, narrates stories based on the Shiva Purana, employing the patina technique to create a teal-blue color that hints at golden hues within the artwork. Angali Raghavender's exhibition, Light At: The Edge of Perception, further showcases the gallery's commitment to diverse artistic expressions. Raghavender's watercolor paintings, inspired by his fascination with the distortion of light and its physical properties, strike a conversation with young viewers about the symbolic representation of what lies ahead.
